Kane Cunningham was born in Manchester
in 1961. He went to Unsworth Comprehensive
School in Bury, Rochdale School of Art and
Leeds Metropolitan University. He has been an
artist since 1982 and has exhibited his artwork
in galleries across the UK.

He is married and has two sons Dale and Ben.
Kane has been teaching since 1982 and is
presently a lecturer in Fine Art in Scarborough,
North Yorkshire.

This is his first published novel based upon a
fisherman and his family. Kane has also written
music, poetry and plays.
